The Beedie School of Business has been accredited by the world’s top accrediting bodies, the European Federation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This achievement places Beedie School of Business among the top tier business schools in the world.
Governance Framework
The Beedie School of Business has established a Dean's External Advisory Board to provide continuous feedback on issues that challenge the conduct of business in the workplace. The individuals on the Board are leaders in their organizations and industries, and provide expertise, guidance and direction in support of our mission and objectives.
About Ryan Beedie
On February 9, 2011, Ryan Beedie and his father Keith donated $22 million to Ryan’s alma mater—SFU Business, which was named the Beedie School of Business. The record-setting gift has created an endowment supporting students, professorships and research chairs.
About Joe Segal
In 2002, longtime SFU supporter Joseph Segal and his family donated the former Bank of Montreal heritage building as the home for the renamed Segal Graduate School of Business. The downtown Vancouver campus hosts SFU's graduate business programs.
