QS World Rankings
Fluid images
Have you hired a fellow SFU graduate?
Simon Fraser University (SFU) participates in the QS World University Rankings. One of the 6 indicators that QS uses for ranking purposes is the reputation of the institution among employers. The data for this indicator is collected using an Employer Questionnaire that QS administers online to employers. SFU values your privacy and we did not want to give your contact details to QS, so we are asking you to voluntarily sign up to participate in the employer survey.

We invite you to share your views and contribute to the QS World University Rankings. The results of the questionnaire will be used to determine the Employer Reputation Index indicator used for ranking purposes. The index accounts for 10% of the global weighting for the World University Rankings and is one of the key features of the rankings that will be published next autumn. Thank you in advance. Here's the link to participate.

Critical SFU Email Problems

Do you have a hotmail.com, outlook.com, live.com or live.ca email account? Or do you know of someone with one of those email accounts who may be missing SFU emails?

We have discovered that official emails from SFU (anyaddress @ sfu. ca) sent to or forwarded to any email accounts hosted by Microsoft are being identified as SPAM and delivered to recipients’ junk mail folders, or not delivered at all in some cases.

Affected email addresses include @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @live.com and @live.ca. SFU emails sent to other addresses, such as Gmail, Shaw, Telus, etc, are NOT affected.

We recommend that you do not forward your SFU email to another email service. Instead, you should access your email directly through connect.sfu.ca. See sfu.ca/students/email-problem/ for more details.
