Co-op Work Experience
Our Co-operative Education Program lets qualified students integrate academic and career studies with relevant work experience. This hands-on approach to education extends the learning process beyond the limits of the classroom and into the working world by alternating study semesters with paid work terms of career-related practical experience.
Student Engagement Office
The Student Engagement Office provides BBA students with services and programs to support their academic and professional pursuits at SFU. By participating in extra-curricular events, you can learn business skills beyond the academic curriculum that will add value to your resume when you enter the job market.
The Student Engagement Office encourages students to participate in:
- National and international conferences and competitions. Analyze, develop and hone your presentation skills as you represent SFU in University business plan and case competitions
- Student exchange programs. Broaden your horizons by studying in a foreign country while earning credits toward your SFU degree
- Student clubs. Join like-minded students in a club that reflects your interests
- Writing Mentors. Use your writing skills to guide others in academic and business writing
- Scholarships. Awards. Bursaries. Each year, over $50,000 is awarded to Business students to reward accomplishments and support their studies
