Category 2 & 3 Admission GPA Calculator
Effective Fall 2011: students applying to the Beedie School of Business will only be allowed a maximum of two repeated courses based on the nine lower division requirement courses. If a student has more than two repeats of the nine lower division courses required for admission, the Beedie School of Business will use the two best repeats, of the student's choice to calculate the Business admissin average.
For example, four of the nine lower division courses have been repeated:
BUEC 232-4 C- to B+
BUS 237-4 C- to A-
BUS 251-3 C to B+
BUS 272-3 C- to B
Based on the above example, the two best repeats would be BUEC 232 and BUS 237. For any additional repeats, the original grade will be used for the admission calculations. It is the onus of the student to indicate their preferred repeats.
If you wish to apply the new repeat policy to your application, because you have more than 2 repeated nine lower division requirements courses, please indicate which courses you would like to have evaluated when applying. Please indicate the courses, and the best grade. If you are repeating the course(s) this term, please indicate the repeated course as "IP" (In Progress).
