Career Success with the Career Management Centre

The Career Management Centre (CMC) offers exclusive resources and services to assist undergraduate business students prepare for and manage their careers. This includes interactive career workshops and one-on-one coaching on career paths, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, job search, and networking.

The CMC also connects students with companies looking to recruit from the SFU Beedie School of Business. Companies at the local, national, and international level visit SFU for a variety of recruitment activities, including on-campus recruitment sessions and on-campus interviews. BBA students also have the opportunity to attend the annual Business Career Expo--the largest business career fair in BC--where they meet with company representatives and recruiters from over 80 participating companies. In addition, students and alumni have exclusive access to full-time, part-time, summer, internship, and volunteer work opportunities via the online job and event management system, Beedie Community.

To book an appointment to meet with a BBA Career Advisor, please login into Beedie Community with your unique SFU Computing ID and password. Select "Book an Appointment" under the quick links (left of screen). Current BBA students and recent BBA alumni* can make an appointment to meet with a BBA Career Advisor. *BBA alumni have access to CMC Career Advisors for up to two years following graduation. BBA alumni have lifetime access to online resources.
