Brown Bag Lunch With a Business Career Advisor | March 9

Posted on:

True or False?

1. Since I have a unique business degree, a job will be waiting for me upon graduation.

2. I can find most of my job opportunities through on-line job boards.

3. I should apply to every job posting I come across to increase my chances of being employed.

4. I only need to focus on my academic studies right now.

5. I should begin my company and industry research once I am invited in for an interview.

If you answered, “true” to any of the statements above, we encourage you to join a few of your peers and a CMC Career Advisor in an informal setting over lunch to learn the real “truths” about what you can do with your business degree and how you can conduct a successful career search.  It’s a casual, open dialogue where you will initiate the discussion by asking questions about career development issues relevant to you.
