Career Tip of the Week: October 31 – November 4

Posted on:

Thinking beyond Resume & Cover Letter:

If your idea of job search is sitting at home in your comfy pajamas while cruising advertised job postings, you’re missing a lot of opportunities. The truth is that most people get jobs from the relationships they have built. It is rare to get a job by simply submitting a resume online. One of the best ways to uncover “hidden” job opportunities is by finding issues and organizations that interest you – then getting involved! To learn more about creative job search, register for the upcoming Job Search Strategies workshop on Nov 7th through the CMC. Register online through Beedie Community.
