Do you want to create positive social impact while gaining invaluable experience?
Register now for the second annual Social Entrepreneurship Challenge (SEC) sponsored by the Humanitarian International Services Group (HISG), Beedie School of Business and Times Telecom. This year SEC 2012 will be taking place on June 16th (Orientation), July 7th (Mid-way Meeting) and July 21st (Preliminary and Final Rounds).
What is SEC?
SEC is a five week long competition open to all undergraduate students. Students will join the competition as teams of threes and be provided with an initial seed fund of $100 to create a product or service of their choice. While creating a social impact on a local and global scale, teams will raise funds by selling their product or service, which ultimately HISG will donate towards sponsoring Social Entrepreneurs in Africa.
