ICC@M 2018 Case Competition Team Applications Open

Applications are open for 4 spots on the International Case Competition @ Maastricht (ICC@M) SFU Team.  Those interested in participating in ICC@M in Maastricht, Netherlands between April 29th, 2018 – May 5th, 2018.  If you are selected as part of this team, you are required to be available to travel between April 27th, 2018 – May 6th, 2018.

Expected Dates: The team will need to meet each week for practice sessions – a weekly minimum 8 hour commitment is expected.  Team practices will be scheduled based on everyone’s availability.  Availability on Monday or Wednesday would be preferred.  If it is not possible to arrange for the team to meet during the week, practices will be held on Saturdays.  Practices will be held during the week of the Reading Break.

Total Training Hours: 80-120 Hours (depending on team experience)

[Training will run January – April with breaks for exams and statutory holidays]

 

Requirements:

–       Logical thought process

–       Good presentation skills

–       Experience/Interest in Case Competitions

–       Explain your experience, why you are interested and/or want to compete

–       Do not worry if you have never competed.  The coach is primarily interested in your logic and thought process

–       If you have ever written a business plan or similar type work, please make note of it

Selection:

1.      Applicants will be shortlisted and be invited to interview

2.     Interviews will take place shortly afterwards where you may be asked questions and receive a more detailed briefing

3.     A team of 4 will be selected as the competition team
