Internal case competitions are an opportunity for you to “learn by doing.” They are designed by the Beedie School of Business to provide a first experience in case competitions. We invite Business Majors and Business Joint Majors to try out the case competition experience by participating in our internal competitions.

Eligibility for Internal Case Competitions

  • Students must be enrolled as a Business Major, Business Joint Major or Business Minor at the time of registration. Non-Business students are NOT eligible to compete in Beedie’s internal case competitions.
  • Students must be in Good Academic Standing with a 2.00 CGPA at the time of registration.
  • Students must have the appropriate number of completed units required for the competition (as indicated below).
  • Students who have participated in CaseCamp, Peak Performance or Elite competitions may participate again in internal case competitions.
  • Students who have represented the Beedie School of Business at an external case competition are NOT eligible to compete but may choose instead to be a senior student coach for a Peak team.
  • If any competition team members are found to be ineligible, we will replace the ineligible team member with an eligible student from the individual registration waitlist.

Please Note: If any of your team members do not meet the eligibility requirements, the Student Engagement Office will replace them with a student from the individual registration waitlist.

Registering an Incomplete Team
Please be aware that, by registering your incomplete team, you are authorizing the Student Engagement Office to place the next available individual registrant on your team. This applies to student competitors as well as student coaches.

Individual Registration
If you do not have a team, you may register as an individual. By registering as an individual, you are signing up for a list that will operate as a waitlist. Individual students will only be added to teams if space becomes available, at which time you will be contacted.

Competition Format
Both Peak Performance and Elite Case Challenge are 24-hour competitions. You should be available the day prior so that you are able to work with your team, as the cases will be released via email 24-hours before your presentation times.
