[BASS] Mentorship Program Mentor Applications Open
Deadline: Sat July 14, 2018Jul 05, 2018
BASS is a volunteer-run student organization that represents all students in SFU’s BBA program. Through a variety of social events, networking events, and a mentorship program, BASS provides countless leadership opportunities.
The BASS Mentorship Program (BMP) integrates first-year students from high school to the SFU Beedie Community. As a mentor, you will play a significant role in transitioning two mentees into their first semester in Beedie. The ideal mentor can establish and maintain relationships, has valuable Beedie experience, and is committed to the growth and development of their mentees.
This year, mentors and mentees can choose between 3 streams: academic, co-curricular, and career. This personalized approach to mentorship allows first-year students to connect with experienced students in a casual and comfortable setting.
All successful candidates will be committed to the program from July 2018 – January 2019.
