The Bursary Only Application for Summer 2012 is currently open. The deadline to apply and submit your completed application is this Friday May 18th, 2012.

To apply, please log in to the Student Information System at http://sis.sfu.ca – Then click Self-service, Student Center, Apply for Bursaries/Work Study. Please note that students will not be assessed for Work Study during this Bursary Only period. If you applied previously during our Work-Study application period (in March) for the Summer term, please do not apply again. Your application will automatically be reviewed for bursary funding for the Summer 2012 term. Notification on whether you will receive funding or not, will occur around the 7th week of classes.

Financial Aid and Awards – SFU Undergraduate Private Scholarship Application Deadline

The Undergraduate Private Scholarship application deadline for continuing undergraduate students for the Summer 2012 term is this Friday May 18th, 2012.

Undergraduate students must apply using the online application process which is found on the Student Centre on the Student Information System (sis.sfu.ca). Look for the Apply for Scholarships/Awards link.

Some opportunities may require supporting documents. You cannot upload these online. Further instructions on how to provide these documents to Financial Aid and Awards will be provided to you as you complete the online application form. Please read all the information carefully. Supporting documents for the application must be received in our office by Friday May 18th, 2012. No late applications/documentation will be accepted.

Several CA Firms will be on campus over the summer semester to hold office hours with students who will be participating in the fall CA Recruit this year.   This is your opportunity to sit down, one-on-one, with a firm rep to have your questions answered and make a connection before the CA Recruit starts.  The office hours can be beneficial to you if you make a good impression and come prepared.  On the other hand, it can be detrimental to your career success with a firm if you don’t showcase yourself in a professional way.  Remember, first impressions count!
