Martins’ interest in accounting, according to the profile, was sparked during her first year of studies at Beedie. Earlier this year, she was promoted to the position of senior tax accountant after an annual review.

“I like the variety that comes with my job,” she says. “One day I could be working on an assignment for one of our tax clients and the next day I could be assisting our assurance or transaction advisory group on tax-related matters.”
