We have created LinkedIn Groups for each program offered by the Beedie School of Business to help you connect with former classmates and alumni from other cohorts.

LinkedIn is an effective and professional business networking tool. The Career Management Centre ensures that members of each group are either currently in, or have graduated from, the specific program. We will also use these groups to update you with event and career opportunities that may be of interest.

What about Facebook?

Feedback from students and alumni reveals most people use Facebook for connecting with family and friends, not for business contacts. The advantage of LinkedIn is that it allows you to maintain a professional level of personal information about your career history and interest. There are dozens of informal Facebook sites established by students and alumni and we encourage you to utilize those sites to keep in touch with each other on a personal level.
