LinkedIn is the professional online platform to build your professional online brand, grow your network, research companies, career paths, and opportunities, and refine your professional online etiquette.

Stay current on all that is happening at the SFU Beedie School of Business by following our LinkedIn company page.

Connect with former classmates and alumni from your program of study. We have created LinkedIn Groups for each program offered by the SFU Beedie School of Business, and we ensure that members of each group are either currently in, or have graduated from, a specific program.

Connect with students and alumni across all programs by joining SFU Beedie's and SFU's Alumni LinkedIn Groups.

We have also created LinkedIn geographic subgroups within the "SFU Beedie School of Business Alumni" LinkedIn Group. If you are in a city/area and would like to start up a local SFU Beedie Alumni Club, please let us know and we will set up a subgroup that you can invite people to join.

What about Facebook?

Feedback from students and alumni reveals most people use Facebook to connect with family and friends and not for business. There are many informal Facebook sites established by students and alumni and we encourage you to utilize those sites to keep in touch with each other on a personal level. The advantage with using LinkedIn is that it allows you to both maintain a professional image and focus on building your career.
