Find / Be a Writing Mentor

Be Challenged | Whether English is your first, second, or even third language, effective writing can be a challenge. As a Beedie undergraduate student, you have the opportunity to receive free, one-on-one mentorship from a trained writing expert.

Writing Mentors

Beedie Writing Mentor sessions run from Weeks 4 to 13 of each term.

Are you a strong writer? Share your gift with others by becoming a Beedie Writing Mentor!

Booked Mentoring Sessions (WMX 4349)

Since there is a high demand for appointments, each Beedie undergraduate student is limited to one 1-hour appointment per week. However, students may attend as many drop-in mentoring sessions as needed. Please read the Mentoring Policy prior to booking an appointment, and then book through the Beedie Community.

Drop-in Mentoring Sessions (WMX 4349)

During our designated drop-in hours, thirty-minute mentoring sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may attend as many of these free, one-on-one mentoring sessions as you wish. Please read the Mentoring Policy prior to your appointment.

View the drop-in schedule by logging in on the Beedie Community and going to the "Book appointment" option and choosing a Beedie Writing Mentor.

We are here to help! You can also find assignment guides for Business courses from the SFU Library.
