BASS Pathways Conference
Want to explore different career paths for concentrations? Attend the Business Administration Student Society (BASS) Pathways Conference for a full-day student-run conference and learn from a variety of industry professionals.

The conference brings together current undergraduate students, industry professionals, and Beedie alumni and faculty for a day of learning, dialogue, and self-discovery through educational workshops, industry panels, and keynotes. The Pathways Conference provides you with an opportunity to engage with industry professionals to preview and evaluate various industries, learn about potential options, and have more knowledge to develop a plan to achieve your goals and aspirations. Student Club Career Events
Getting involved in student clubs is an excellent way to develop skills and gain hands-on experience. Being in a club offers you opportunities to lead projects, organize events, and build your network. Consider applying for an executive position in a club to foster leadership and interpersonal skills. Learn more

Career Talk
Get online advice, coaching, and career preparation tips from Beedie alumni. Connect one-on-one with a working professional for a 20-30 minute online information interview. Beedie students also have access to career webinars through Career Talk. Learn more

Mentors in Business (MIB)
The Mentors in Business (MIB) Program is your opportunity to be paired with an industry professional who is keen on helping you build business relationships and offer career guidance and advice. Mentors share their knowledge, experience, and words of wisdom to help you make informed career choices and plan out your career path.

Company Tours
Learn about different companies and their work cultures. Throughout the year, we offer tours of local companies from various industries including food & beverage, retail, apparel, accounting, and others. Stay tuned for more details and how to register.

Beedie Endowment Asset Management (BEAM)
Want to be involved in managing a $5 million investment fund? BEAM is one of the largest undergraduate student-run investment funds in Canada. Students who are selected for BEAM receive rigorous, hands-on training, including Bloomberg terminal certification, financial analysis, and equity research, as well as have the opportunity to travel to Toronto to make industry connections. Sales Development Program
The Business Development and Sales Preparation program is facilitated by an industry professional and provides you with the tools to move up in the business world. Develop practical skills that you can use at any stage of your career. Learn how to present ideas that inspire commitment, overcome objection, close deals, negotiate to win, and build relationships for life. More information to come.

Co-operative Education
Want to gain paid work experience while you complete your degree? Business Co-op can help you gain real job experience in a full-time position for four or eight months. Learn more

Interview Stream
Interviewing is a learned skill that takes practice, practice, and more practice! Interview Stream is an online mock interview tool to help you get practice and see how you present yourself. Make sure you also sign up for an in-person mock interview with a Career Advisor to get as much practice as you can!as you can!

Beedie Urban Development Program
Interested in building well-planned and sustainable communities for the future? Designed in collaboration with the Urban Development Institute, students learn about the inner workings of urban development, its role in the Lower Mainland, and opportunities within the industry in this six-workshop program.
