Mentors in Business (MIB)
The Mentors in Business (MIB) Program is your opportunity to be paired with an industry professional who is keen on helping you build business relationships and offer career guidance and advice. Mentors share their knowledge, experience, and words of wisdom to help you make informed career choices and plan out your career path.
Beedie's Writing Mentors program is aimed at undergraduate students registered in business courses and will provide those students with practical resources to help them develop strong critical writing skills. The program will assist students with both short-term and long–term problems. Any undergraduate student taking a business course is permitted one pre–booked 60–minute mentoring session per week. Beyond this, students will also have access to weekly drop–in hours. Mentoring starts in Week 4 and runs through Week 13.
BASS Mentorship Program
The BASS Mentorship Program is a single semester jump-start for first year business students admitted directly to the Beedie School of Business from high school. The BASS Mentorship Program focuses on the relationship between mentor and mentee and builds this though fun and competitive team activities at each of its four events. Our goal is to help every first year gain the confidence and skills needed to thrive in the Beedie School of Business.
