EMBA career coaching
Work with an experienced professional career coach who specializes in working with mid- and senior-level MBAs to help focus and enhance your career planning and search activities. Our support staff can help you to hone resumes and cover letters.

Meet Christine Sjolander, your dedicated careers advisor

With more than twenty years in career development services at both the undergraduate and MBA levels at US universities, she brings a range of individual and group experience, a large corporate network, and a penchant for new ideas to her role.

The Mentors in Business program provides you with an opportunity to be paired with an industry professional or EMBA alumni who is keen on helping you build business relationships and on offering career guidance and advice. Mentors will share their knowledge, experience, and words of wisdom to help you make informed career choices and plan out your career path.

Vancouver is Canada’s centre of entrepreneurship. There are a couple of ways to release your inner entrepreneur.

RADIUS

If you are interested in pushing forward new ideas about how our society might work, this could be for you. RADIUS (RADical Ideas, Useful to Society) is a social innovation lab and venture incubator based at the Beedie School of Business. It provides opportunities for you to engage with local social innovation projects and put your skills to work to the benefit of society as a whole.

Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection

If you have a great idea, Venture Connection could help you turn it into a viable venture. Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection is an SFU-wide program that trains future leaders and innovators. The initiative provides tools and training to build students’ entrepreneurial skills and help turn great ideas into viable ventures.
