A micromobility hardtech startup is the top winner of SFU’s 13th annual Coast Capital Venture Prize competition. SFU’s undergraduate student-led Axis Consulting has completed its first-ever paid contract. The milestone client, Green North Energy, is a Finland-based green energy development company. “Axis Consulting teams usually complete pro bono work for nonprofits. The award recognizes Kaligotla’s paper Diffusion of Competing Rumours on Social Media as an outstanding contribution to the philosophy, theory or practice of simulation published in the Journal of Simulation.
