Student Profile
Individuals with undergraduate degrees in areas other than Business. Work experience of two or more years is prefered although exceptional candidates with fewer than two years of experience may be considered. As well as GMAT and GPA scores, we look for diversity in backgrounds, experience, and career objectives to enable us to assemble a first-class cohort of students.
Program Focus
The MBA program provides a foundation in business theory and practice, and adds relevant courses in ethics, sustainability, negotiations and new ventures. Classroom learning is complemented with experience in the workplace by means of an internship at the completion of the 12-month academic curriculum.
Format
The program operates on a cohort model. While students all take the same courses, a unique aspect of this program is the ability to create a customized learning path. Students are encouraged to complete assignments, projects and essays on industries, regions or companies matching their particular interests, enabling individuals to tailor the content of the program to meet their needs. By the completion of the MBA program and internship, students will have gained the knowledge, developed the confidence, and enhanced the connections necessary to take the next step on their career paths.
Length, Schedule and Start Date
The MBA program is a full-time academic program covering 12 calendar months, starting in September and completing in August, followed by a two-to-eight month internship.
The academic curriculum is the equivalent of an 18 - 24 month program compressed into an intense 12-month time frame. Students are in class approximately 17 hours per week. Their assignments, project work and reading requirements average another 30 hours or more per week. Students are strongly advised to forego even part-time employment during this program.
Applications are evaluated in the order in which they are completed. It is to your advantage to submit your complete application and all supporting documentation to avoid application peaks.

International Field Study Trip
Students have the option to include an international field trip to enhance their studies.
Discover the role your new skills play in business and the world. An optional field study trip exposes you to the cultural differences and challenges of working in an era when businesses span borders. You’ll explore the entrepreneurial mindset in a new ventures course, and demonstrate your understanding by writing essays drawing from the skills learned in your course work. After 12 months of academic classes, you will have the opportunity to put your skills to work in a three- to eight-month internship.
