Association of Women in Finance Graduate Scholarship
The purpose of this award is to recognize and reward an outstanding student pursuing an MBA, with past experience in the field of finance and future plans to pursue a career in finance. One award per calendar year is given to a student who demonstrates academic excellence and who is registered full-time or part-time in an MBA program or the Master of Financial Risk Management.
Students are nominated for the award by the Associate Dean of the Graduate Business Programs. To be considered for this entrance scholarship, students should complete the Application for a Private Graduate Scholarship and submit it with their application to the program. Candidates should also include a cover letter detailing future work plans and a resume outlining work experience and academic background.
BMO Graduate Scholarship in Business
The purpose of this fellowship is to provide financial support for graduate students at Simon Fraser University who are pursuing, or intend to pursue, a graduate degree in Business Administration at the Segal Graduate School of Business.
Students are nominated for this award by the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. To apply, please complete the Application for a Private Graduate Scholarship and include it with your application.
CN / Joe Segal Graduate Entrepreneurship Award in Business
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for graduate students pursuing a degree at the Segal Graduate School of Business. Candidates should submit a resume and cover letter demonstrating their involvement and interest in entrepreneurial activities. A letter of reference from a mentor or supervisor should also be included. A full-time student will be nominated for this award by the Chair of the Faculty of Business Committee based on academic excellence and entrepreneurial background. The A. John Ellis Graduate Scholarship in Business Administration
This scholarship will provide financial support to Master's or PhD students at Segal Graduate School of Business. Multiple awards of $10,000 are available to graduate business students who are enrolled full time in a graduate program at Segal, and who have demonstrated academic and research excellence at the post graduate level, with particular emphasis on intellectual ability, originality and ability in research. Graduate Entrance Scholarship in Business Administration
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for a student entering a graduate degree program in Business Administration. To be considered for the award, students should demonstrate academic excellence at the undergraduate level and, if applicable, at the graduate level. HSBC Graduate Award in Business
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support to graduate students at Simon Fraser University who are pursuing, or intend to pursue, a graduate degree in Business Administration at the Segal Graduate School of Business.

Don and Pat Hudson Scholarship in International Business Relations
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for a student studying international business relations as part of their graduate business degree. Students are nominated by the Academic Chair of the MBA programs and the Associate Dean of Business Administration based on demonstrated academic excellence at the undergraduate level, and if applicable, the graduate level. Peter Legge Graduate Volunteer Leadership Award in Business
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for graduate students pursuing or entering a degree at the Segal Graduate School of Business.
Students are nominated for this award by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. To apply, please complete the Application for Private Graduate Scholarship and include it with your application. You must outline your involvement in unpaid volunteer activities by providing a resume and cover letter describing your volunteerism, the length of service, and time commitment. In addition, you are required to provide a letter of reference from a supervisor of your volunteer work.
Duncan and Jean McEachran Memorial Prize in Canadian Business
The purpose of this prize is to recognize a student in a graduate degree program in the Faculty of Business Administration whose thesis or project essay addresses issues in Canadian Business. Students must submit a copy of the nominated work and a nomination letter by an adjudicating faculty member describing the academic merits of the work. The purpose of this award is to recognize and reward an outstanding student pursuing an MBA at the Segal Graduate School of Business. One scholarship per calendar year is given to a student with a demonstrated focus on international business and marketing. Dr. L.B. Peter Rae Memorial Award in Business Ethics
The purpose of the Dr. L. B. Peter Rae Memorial Award in Business Ethics is to recognize a student pursuing an MBA or EMBA whose thesis or MBA project addresses issues in business ethics.
The thesis or MBA project should be submitted to the Faculty of Business Administration Awards Committee and will be adjudicated by two permanent faculty members. No award will be made if, in the opinion of the referees, a suitably high standard has not been reached. Students are advised to consult with faculty regarding the suitability of their proposed thesis or project subject.

Scotiabank Graduate Scholarship for Women Entrepreneurs
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for a female student enrolled full or part-time in an MBA program, who demonstrates the potential for entrepreneurial success as well as academic excellence. Students must submit a cover letter outlining entrepreneurial experience and a letter of reference from a business colleague or faculty member outlining her entrepreneurial potential. Segal Graduate School of Business Entrance Scholarships
A number of entrance scholarships are available to students applying to the SFU MBA program. These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit at the undergraduate level, and if applicable, at the graduate level. SFU Nancy McKinstry Graduate Scholarship for Leadership
The purpose of the SFU Nancy McKinstry Graduate Scholarship for Leadership is to recognize and reward an outstanding student pursuing a graduate degree in the Faculty of Business Administration with a passion for advancing gender diversity in the workplace.
Preference will be given to students who have a minimum of five years of professional and/or managerial experience; and a student who has done exemplary work in advancing gender diversity in the workplace or their extracurricular activities such as, but not limited to, volunteer work, service or or chairing community committees, mentoring, coaching or fundraising.
Students are nominated for this award by the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. To apply, please fill out the Application for Private Graduate Scholarship and include it with your application.
TCG International Graduate Scholarship in Business Administration
The purpose of this award is to provide support for a student in the MBA program. One scholarship per calendar year is awarded to a student based on academic excellence at the undergraduate level, and if applicable, at the graduate level (CGPA > 3.5). The recipient will have a demonstrated focus on marketing, international business, or policy analysis, and preference will be given to a BC resident.
