Whether you have a clear goal, a more general idea, or are using your time as a student to explore career opportunities, the Career Management Centre team of professional staff is here to help you create a plan for success.
Career management is an integral component of the MBA. Throughout the MBA program, the Career Management Centre staff will support you, provide you with resources and tools, and help you develop and hone the variety of skills you’ll need when preparing for your internship and your first position post-graduation.
Through workshops and one-on-one coaching, we will walk you through the entire job search process. We’ll start by providing you with self-assessment tools and then show you how to map out future possibilities and tap into the hidden job market. We will also help you build and communicate your personal brand. And to help you secure the job of your choice, we’ll coach you through various interview and salary negotiation scenarios. What you learn during these 12 months will sustain you throughout your career, so that you are always making the best decisions for you and your career.
MBA Internships
At the end of the 12-month program, apply your newly acquired skills, knowledge, and fresh ideas to an MBA Internship. Internships begin each September, are full-time, and are 2 to 8 months in length. Compensation is at market rates and negotiated directly between you and your internship employer.
