Making the Transition to Management

A significant part of the MOT MBA is devoted to understanding how to identify and capitalize on opportunities for advancement, either within the same firm or in a different organization.

In the MOT MBA, the Career Management Program is designed to take students through a process of self-evaluation, reflection and planning. The objective is to assess the skills, interests and aptitudes that can be leveraged into new positions and new responsibilities. A dedicated Career Advisor, with experience in the technology sector, instructs students how to develop skills crucial for success in the long term: networking, business and social etiquette, employment search techniques and interviewing skills.

In the Applied Project, students tackle real business issues for client organizations, using all the knowledge they have acquired and the skills they have honed to develop feasible and optimal solutions. Clients obtain new perspectives, and students synthesize their learning through the process.
