Beedie School of Business undergraduate student Tamara Hombrebueno has been selected as one of 200 top students from across Canada to judge the 2013 TalentEgg National Campus Recruitment Excellence Awards.

The TalentEgg National Campus Recruitment Excellence Awards are presented to the employers who best illustrate how to achieve outstanding results in campus recruitment. The awards provide employers who hire Canadian students or recent graduates with student perspective on campus recruitment.

Each year TalentEgg selects top students and recent graduates to serve on the judging panel to evaluate and provide feedback on employers’ campus recruitment initiatives.

Judges are chosen based on their experiences as Engaged Leaders or High Potentials. As both a Beedie ambassador and local committee president of AIESEC SFU, Hombrebueno was a natural choice for the position.

“Having been in AIESEC over the last two years, I have gotten to know TalentEgg quite well, as it is an official AIESEC Canada Media Partner,” says Hombrebueno. “I recognize how influential TalentEgg is for students, especially with its ability to connect us to companies. I am honoured to have been selected as a judge, and look forward to bringing my student perspective to Canada’s top employers.”

The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the TalentEgg Campus Recruitment Excellence Awards and Conference, to be held on May 14 in Toronto.
