Biography
Dr. Mila Lazarova joined the Beedie School of Business in 2002 from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where she received her PhD.
Her research interests include expatriate management, with a focus on repatriation and the career impact of international assignments; work/life balance issues related to assignments; global careers and the role of organizational career development and mobility practices in organizations; the changing role of the HR department; and comparative human resource management.
She was recently awarded a SSHRC standard research grant for a comparative study of HR practices and the changing role of the HR department in organizations.
