Honour Roll
Dean's Honour Roll
Each semester, students who have demonstrated exceptionally high academic performance are selected for the Dean's Honour Roll and recognized at the annual Dean's Awards Reception in the Spring. Students are selected in each of the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. The following requirements must be met by students to be considered for the Dean's Honour Roll (new requirements below affect spring 2010 semester onwards)
Must be a declared Business Major, Business Honours, Joint Business Major, or Joint Business Honours
- Have successfully completed 30 units at SFU, including the Honour Roll semester
- Completion of a minimum 12 units in the Honour Roll semester
- Have a 3.50 or higher GPA in the Honour Roll semester
- Not enrolled in EDUC 401-406
President's Honour Roll (previously named University Honor Roll)
A limited number of students will be admitted each semester to the President's Honour Roll, mainly on the basis of excellent work completed in the previous semester. This award will be shown on the student's permanent record. Admission to the Honour Roll requires that the student:
- Must have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours at Simon Fraser University by the end of the semester being evaluated
- Must have completed at least 12 units in the semester being evaluated
- Must achieve a minimum semester GPA of 4.00 calculated on all normally graded courses completed in the semester being evaluated
- Not enrolled in EDUC 401-406
Golden Key International Honour Society
Golden Key is an academic honours association that recognizes the top 15% of students in second year and higher. Full and part-time students in all academic undergraduate fields are eligible.
