We bring new knowledge, based on our research and experience, into the classroom, which enriches our students’ learning environment. Innovations in course design and delivery allow us to support active and participatory learning at all levels. We count several award-winning instructors and educators among our faculty and take pride in the quality of education we provide our students.

Teaching Development

Members of our faculty actively pursue innovation in teaching-methods and embrace mentorship roles that further our students’ academic achievements. Many faculty members also conduct teaching-related research, write textbooks that are widely used across Canada, and serve on teaching-related committees within and outside the university.

Learning Technology

Integrating technology into teaching can add value to the learning experience and assist in the administrative management of courses. The effective use of academic learning tools can help faculty engage their students in the learning experience in new and exciting ways.

Learning Outcomes and Assessment

The Beedie School of Business is an AACSB accredited school. As part of our accreditation, we have developed learning goals for each of our degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Each set of learning goals outline the intended student learning outcomes and abilities for students in each program.
