Teaching and Educator Awards

Faculty members have been recognized as important contributors to education and teaching both within and beyond the Faculty of Business Administration. Three of our faculty members have received the Simon Fraser University Excellence in Teaching Awards (only awarded once to any particular faculty member). Other faculty members have received awards from external organizations such as the Canadian Academic Accounting Association. In addition to these commendations, each year we acknowledge excellence in teaching through the Faculty of Business Administration Teaching Honour Roll.

FBA Teaching Honour Roll

The first Faculty of Business Administration Teaching Honour Roll was announced in 1996.  The Teaching Honour Roll is an annual list of instructors in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, meeting certain minimum teaching criteria, who ranked in the top 10% of their peers that year in excellence in teaching, as measured by student evaluations.
