Workshop on Multinationals, Sustainability and Extractive Industries

The Centre for Corporate Governance and Sustainability at the Beedie School of Business hosts Multinationals, Sustainability and Extractive Industries. The workshop will be centred around papers being considered for a special issue of the Journal of World Business. The special issue is edited by Professors Chang Hoon Oh and Daniel Shapiro from Simon Fraser University, and Professor Bersant Hobdari of the Copenhagen Business School.

Mentors Needed for Mentors in Business (MiB) Summer 2017
Apply by April 21

We invite alumni and industry professionals to be mentors in the next Beedie School of Business Mentors in Business (MiB) program. The MiB connects graduate and undergraduate students with mentors - including CEOs, VPs, and Senior Directors - from the business community who want to inspire and share their knowledge. The MiB program runs twice/year for a six-month duration; mentors and mentees meet on a monthly basis and attend organized events. Since 2011, more than 800 mentors have participated in Beedie's MiB, currently one of the most successful programs in the country.
