INFORMATION SESSION : The Next 36: Canada’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Initiative

Come and meet the Executive Director and Director of Marketing & Events from The Next 36 and find out about the country’s most innovative entrepreneurial leadership program:

About The Next 36

The goal of The Next 36 is to help launch the careers of Canada’s most promising and innovative undergraduates. The program will identify these students through a rigorous national selection process, and give them the academic foundation, practical skills, role models and networks to become Canada’s next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. Candidates should expect to be pushed out of their comfort zone, gain skills vital to entrepreneurs and nation builders and have their expectations for themselves increased dramatically. The young entrepreneurs selected are placed in teams of four and tasked with building a business in the mobile or tablet space.  For 8 months they are provided mentorship from some of Canada’s top business leaders, up to $50,000 cash, and academic instruction from some of the world’s top faculty. The program is spearheaded by a founding group of 50 high-profile business leaders, entrepreneurs, and academics.

What makes The Next 36 so valuable?

• CEO mentorship from Canada’s top business leaders and entrepreneurs
• Unparalleled support for the development of your own venture in the mobile or tablet environment
• Unique combination of academic theory, business mentorship and practical entrepreneurial experience
• A powerful peer network with some of Canada’s most talented and innovative students
• $25,000 in tuition costs per student covered by generous donors
