The SFU Centre for Biotechnology Management is an academic research center focused on the formation, operation and growth of biotechnology firms. The Centre conducts research that examines how variations in control and planning systems, and use of social networks affect the diversity, performance and viability of such firms. See the section on Research for more information.

Participation is encouraged by any scholar, manager, industry stakeholder or policy maker who seeks to support and participate in research that will advance our understanding of the design rules, systems and behaviors that define a successful biotechnology venture.
