Free
Globalization and digital transformation have increased unexpected challenges to manage sustainable people performance. Retaining status of a great place to work and maintaining a ranking in the Annual Economic Survey are not easy for organizations in a global competitive market. Findings of change in priority of work values of the top management team and the increasing trend of percentages of small organizations moving towards extinction show that innovation is core factor in the process.
Today, people management researchers find it difficult to predict performance of a manager, based on ability and motivation. However, imputation of missing information in judgement and decision has not changed. For overcoming with the perceptual bias and psychological health, researchers of artificial intelligence and programming have to work hard to have decisions objective and judgement transparent.
This seminar focuses on presenting the evidences that in-spite of increasing level of self-determination, richness of information, and opportunity to utilize abilities for competitive advantage, prediction of entrepreneurial orientation of young entrepreneurs from a developing economy require explanation beyond within the individual. Strategic issues related to work behavior (positive thinking, engagement, and psychological withdrawal), entrepreneurial orientation, and global leadership practices demand serious attention of researchers and policy makers.
