SFU Business Continues to Expand the Frontiers of Management Knowledge
Mar 01, 2007
SFU Business researchers are breaking new ground on a wide range of topics from influence of trust in international strategic alliances to consumer demand for professional sports teams. Research activity in the Faculty is very high, and is spurred on by newly created research centres such as the CIBC Centre for Corporate Governance and Risk Management. The quality of academic research is often judged by the company it keeps. So it is worth noting that assistant professors Mila Lazarova and Rekha Krishnan recently published their research studies in top 40 journals as ranked by the Financial Times. And, good research attracts the resources to support it. A number of SFU Business researchers received very prestigious grants. The following is a brief sampling of the wide-ranging research activity at SFU Business.
