SFU Beedie Talks with Chancellor Tamara Vrooman

Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business hosted a special evening of conversation with Tamara Vrooman, CEO and President of the Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR) and SFU Chancellor. Prior to this, she was President & CEO of Vancity, Canada’s largest community credit union with $28 billion in assets, Deputy Minister of Finance for the Province of British Columbia, and Secretary to the Treasury Board and CEO of the Public Sector Employers’ Council.

Tamara is joined by Professor Terri Griffith, Keith Beedie Chair in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, in a Fireside Chat to talk about the future of work and what the pandemic has taught us. A Q&A session followed, allowing attendees the opportunity to engage with Tamara and ask questions.
