Ryan Beedie inducted into Order of British Columbia |
Ryan Beedie, BBA’91, President of Beedie, has been named a member of the Order of British Columbia for his significant contributions for making BC a better place to live. Ryan is a strong supporter of education and access to education, as evidenced by his $22M gift to SFU in 2011 to establish the Beedie School of Business. For his 50th birthday, he established a $50M scholarship program, Beedie Luminaries, that aims to help “students with potential who are facing financial adversity to advance their education, achieve their dreams, and inspire others.” Ryan was honoured in 2018 with SFU’s Outstanding Alumni Award for Service to the Community. |
