Indigenous student weaves together traditional knowledge with business education
The Executive MBA in Indigenous Business Leadership (EMBA IBL) is designed to weave together executive business education with traditional Indigenous knowledge, and one student graduating from the program has literally done just that. As a part of her final project, artist Angela George, MBA’19, who is from the Squamish Nation and lives and works at Tsleil-Waututh, created a weaving that represents complex models of governance in a physical form.

Call for nominations: Alumni Association

The SFU Alumni Association is seeking a minimum of three alumni to fill elected positions on the Board of Directors for the three-year term of office from September 2020 to May 2023.

Nominations close at 12 p.m. (PDT) on July 28. To be eligible, candidates must have been awarded a Senate-approved degree, diploma, certificate or PDP from SFU before June 2020.
