Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?

I decided to pursue an MBA because I recognized the need to elevate my skill set and broaden my horizons within the business world. The MBA program offers a comprehensive and strategic approach to business, allowing me to acquire the knowledge and leadership qualities necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving corporate landscape.

What drew me to the SFU Beedie School of Business is its reputation for academic excellence and a commitment to fostering innovative thinking. The school's emphasis on experiential learning, coupled with its strong network of alumni and industry connections, made it an ideal choice. I believe that the Beedie School of Business will provide me with the resources, mentorship, and collaborative environment needed to excel in my MBA journey and beyond.

What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

My experience at Beedie has been both enriching and transformative. The diverse and talented cohort of students has provided a dynamic learning environment, fostering collaboration and the exchange of innovative ideas. I've had the opportunity to work on real-world business challenges, applying what I've learned in the classroom to practical situations. Additionally, the guidance of experienced faculty members has been invaluable.

Looking ahead, I'm eager to continue exploring various aspects of business and leadership, as well as building lasting connections with my peers and faculty. I'm excited about the prospect of hands-on projects, internships, and networking opportunities that will further enhance my MBA journey at Beedie and prepare me for a successful career in the corporate world.
