Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?

The decision to start the MBA program was driven by my desire to facilitate career growth, strengthen managerial skills and re-start my career in the international environment. Pausing a career for a year was a tough decision, but I was motivated to find a school that would help me to uncover my maximum potential. After the first months of classes, I realize that Beedie exceeds my expectations due to the case-based applied learning experience and amazing cohort.

What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

For me, people are the most precious part of my experience at Beedie. My favourite experience at school so far has been working on group projects with my cohort. Communication with classmates gives me even more than a powerful network. Studying with people from different work backgrounds with diversified perspectives on leadership helps me to better understand my strengths and areas for improvement.

How would you describe SFU Beedie’s culture?

I would describe SFU's Beedie culture as highly open, collaborative, and fun. During the first months, I was amazed at how supportive and welcoming is the Beedie team. It is a great pleasure to be surrounded by classmates that share my attitude to be intellectually challenged while building deep bonds and having fun with each other.
