    Mariana is a PhD student in Management & Organization Studies (MOS), with emphasis in Organizational Behaviour. Recipient of the Graduate Dean’s Entrance Scholarship, Mariana joins the Beedie School of Business after completing her Master of Business Administration at The University of British Columbia.

    Within her program of study, Mariana has been investigating the role of mindfulness in reducing occupational stress and improving relationships at work. She has been exploring the mechanisms that explain why mindfulness is successful in reducing stress and burnout, as well as how mindfulness affects relationships among co-workers.
