Biography
Husna joined the PhD program at Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University (SFU) in January 2018. She completed her MSc in Finance from SFU in 2017. While attending SFU’s MSc Finance program, as Global Equity Portfolio Manager, she led and coached a team of analysts in evaluating macroeconomic factors/indicators, sectors, and companies’ valuations through a bottom-up approach. She worked as a Research Assistant for the Teaching and Learning Development Grants project “Using a Simulation Game in an Undergraduate Finance Course.” She holds an MBA from the University of Wales and has previously spent two years as a Research Associate and three years as a Management Counselor with Pakistan Institute of Management.
