Biography

Irshad brings strong leadership skills coupled with “hands-on” IM/IT/IS expertise. He leverages deep practical experience in delivering enterprise mission-critical projects. His expertise is primarily in the development and implementation of:

  • IT strategies;
  • Enterprise and Solution Architectures;
  • IT Governance frameworks; and
  • Complex public sector technology procurement strategies.

His research interests include understanding how digital technologies (cloud, IoT, RPA, process mining etc.) can transform business models; as well as the intersection/integration of these digital technologies and traditional large-scale technology solutions (ERP, CRM, BPM etc.) Irshad's PhD thesis focused on analyzing implementation of large-scale technologies (e-Government) in public sector entities and understanding why such implementations face such high failure rates.
