The role of the CIO is among the most dynamic in the enterprise, and you have decided to make it your challenge. To get there, you need experience, contacts and a broad technological and strategic perspective. You are focused on developing these skills and are looking for a way to kick-start the learning. This program is designed to do just that by introducing you, the current or future CIO, to the key concepts and realities associated with CIO success.
This program has been designed in partnership with the CIO Association of Canada, as an opportunity for its Associate Members to take their careers to the next level. While the program is designed for the direct reports of CIO members, interested CIOs are welcome to enroll. Applicants will be required to send their bios, including work experience and education. Acceptance to the program will be determined by the CIOCAN Vancouver Chapter Board of Directors.
The Not-For-Profit Governance Essentials Program was jointly developed by the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors. Ideal for directors and executive directors of small and large not-for-profit organizations, the two-day intensive program is taught by prominent faculty and some of Canada's most accomplished directors of not‐for‐profit organizations. This innovative program provides learning on key accountabilities and responsibilities of not‐for‐profit leaders.
The program is ideal for current and recent directors on the board of a public or private company, not-for-profit organization, or Crown or public agency. Offered at 11 of the leading business schools in Canada, we are proud to be one of the partner schools for this outstanding program.
You can expect a highly interactive 12‐day program of roundtable discussions, real‐time case studies and on‐point insights from leading governance experts. The DEP helps experienced directors build on their expertise, fine-tune skills for around the boardroom table and strengthen their capacity to create and protect value for their organizations. In your quest to be a better director, it will help you clarify your mission and fully exercise your director potential.
This program is completed in four three‐day modules. It connects you to an extended network of leading directors who are bringing better governance to Canada and its communities. Completing the Directors Education Program is the first step in attaining the ICD.D designation granted by the Institute of Corporate Directors, the professional body representing the director community in Canada.
Working to support the Primary Care Initiative stakeholders, we offer a customized leadership and management development program that is integrated and aligned with the constellation of support activities and professional development and education/training opportunities currently available to existing and emerging GPSC Divisions and stakeholders. Digital University was developed to deliver a unique program that will take audit professionals’ digital skills to the next level. The program focuses on technology and data analytics to help prepare KPMG’s auditors for the fast-changing world of machine learning, artificial intelligence and technological transformation.
