Our Programs

A few examples of the customized learning experiences we have developed for our partners:

Digital Innovation and Leadership (DIAL)

The DIAL initiative is a systems-based strategic response to the challenge of rapidly skilling workers to drive digital transformation within organizations. DIAL offers two high-impact programs custom designed to help individuals and organizations across sectors develop capacity for digital innovation.

Share Your Expertise

We love co-creation. Become a DIAL consortium partner and contribute your expertise. We welcome subject matter experts in digital to join our national network and commitment to helping companies across Canada who need support in their digital transformation.

FPSC - Leadership and Management Development Program

Working to support Family Practice Services Committee's Primary Care Initiative stakeholders, we offer a customized leadership and management development program that is integrated and aligned with the constellation of support activities, professional development and education/training opportunities currently available to existing and emerging FPSC Divisions and stakeholders.

KPMG - Data and Analytics in Accounting Program

These programs were custom-built to take KPMG audit professionals’ digital skills to the next level. The program focuses on technology and data analytics to help prepare KPMG’s auditors for the fast-changing world of machine learning, artificial intelligence and technological transformation. By completing this program, participants can earn a Graduate Certificate in Accounting with Digital Analytics and a Master of Science in Accounting with Cognitive Analytics.

The content of the program, the lecturers, the guest speakers involved were all incredibly knowledgeable. I hope I get to meet all the lecturers and students in my cohort one day as each of them made an impact.

Jason Williams

Manager, Innovative Travel Solutions

Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR)

The i2I program is perfect for people like me who are deeply involved in science, and who want to look for opportunities in the business world. A program like this opens your mind and teaches you that there is another world of possibilities outside of the lab.

Elena Groppa, i2I

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine

University of British Columbia Biomedical Research Centre

The big revelation for me was that the IT industry is geo-agnostic. We had an incredibly diverse group of participants from across Canada in the course. By talking to people across the country, you can learn a lot more about adversity and how to overcome challenging circumstances.

Archana Nirad

Chief Information Officer

BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA)

The ability to communicate with investors, and with partners who don’t have a background in science, is critical to bringing a technology from the lab to market. The i2I program helped me see my work through a business lens. I not only learned to communicate but how to value technologies appropriately and to identify market opportunities and their associated risks and uncertainties.

Finlay MacNab, i2I

PHD candidate in the Department of Chemistry

Simon Fraser University

What you put into the course is what you get out of the course, so take your time and mine as many nuggets as you can
