Transforming invention to innovation

Graduate Certificate in Science & Technology Commercialization

Learning

Your learning experience in SFU Beedie’s i2I program culminates with our Venture Pitch Competition. Qualifying students pitch their emerging or product-ready ventures for a chance to win cash prizes.

The i2I Venture Pitch helps scientists grow into more business-savvy scientist-entrepreneurs who know how to attract investors, commercialize their inventions and sell the value of their products or services.

We put together a panel of judges who are angel investors, IP experts and successful serial entrepreneurs. They’ll push you on your value proposition and potential to make an impact with your venture. You and your i2I cohort will present the investment opportunity to the broader innovation ecosystem at theVenture Pitch event.
