PRE-PROGRAM

To help get you ready to start the program, preparation courses such as Excel and Financial Accounting will be delivered in a self-paced, online format. You will start the prep courses before classes start in September, enabling you to learn at your own pace and ease your entry into the MBA program.

Online Curriculum

Your learning in online courses will occur through a blend of activities and assessments in self-paced asynchronous individual learning, team-based learning and live (synchronous) whole-of-cohort learning.

In-Person Signature Experience

In the Online MBA, students participate in an annual signature in-person experience in June and can bond with their teammates and cohort members in an intensive 2-credit course. In the first year, the destination will be downtown Vancouver at the Segal Graduate School of Business and engage with dozens of brands represented within a short radius of the campus.

In the second year, students will meet in Whistler and Sea-to-Sky country for a 3-day weekend, interacting with Indigenous businesses, worldviews, and the beautiful land. Students can expect two days of learning, evening social events, and a third day of optional activities to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Remember to block these dates off in your calendar!

These experiences will help transform your online shared learning space and collaborations into meaningful relationships and friendships.
