The program comprises six terms* that are seamlessly interconnected to embolden you to apply your education as you progress through the program.

PRE-PROGRAM
To help get you ready to start the program, preparation courses such as Excel and Financial Accounting will be delivered in a self-paced, online format. You will start the prep courses before classes start in September, enabling you to learn at your own pace and ease your entry into the MBA program.
Online Curriculum
Your learning in online courses will occur through a blend of activities and assessments in self-paced asynchronous individual learning, team-based learning and live (synchronous) whole-of-cohort learning.

MANAGING PEOPLE & ORGANIZATIONS
Understand the fundamentals of the management of people and the intricate design and function of organizations.
FINANCIAL & MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING
Gain a clear understanding of financial statements and learn how to analyze corporate financial performance.
BUSINESS ANALYTICS
Explore the functions and responsibilities of managers in formulating, cooperating with, and implementing corporate marketing strategies and policies.

Explore the functions and responsibilities of managers in formulating, cooperating with, and implementing corporate marketing strategies and policies.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
In this course, you will master essential project management steps: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Gain theoretical knowledge and apply your skills to a real-world project to raise charity funds. Engage in friendly competition with classmates as you navigate challenges, combining fun with a meaningful cause. This hands-on experience will enhance your project management capabilities while fostering teamwork and creativity.
MANAGERIAL FINANCE
Understand the basics of finance necessary for managerial decision-making. The course is divided into two blocks: short-term financing (operational finance) and long-term financing (corporate finance).
SUSTAINABILITY
Understand how to help organizations to embed sustainability into their governance, operations and supply chains. Students examine the key challenges and opportunities firms face in integrating sustainable business practices into their corporate strategy and across their operations and supply chains.
MANAGING INFORMATION
Understand Information Systems and Information Technology as vital strategic assets.
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Are you ready to sharpen your global business acumen? This unique MBA course is your gateway to understanding the complexities of global trade, strategizing across cultures, and mastering the political and social forces shaping multinational corporations. Let's take your career passport-free and borderless!
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Familiarize yourself with the challenges, opportunities, and salient issues in managing operations, as well as the language, concepts, insights, and tools to deal with these issues to gain a competitive advantage through operations.
MICROECONOMICS FOR STRATEGIC THINKING
This course empowers students with key concepts and theories in microeconomics to enlighten strategic decision-making. We will explore essential concepts related to demand, productivity, and cost and engage in discussions on optimal decision-making under different market environments. The learning process will integrate verbal and graphical interpretations of theories in interactive lectures. Proficiency in introductory algebra, functions, and two-dimensional graphs is essential.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Students focus on cases and projects about starting business ventures and constructing a business plan and are required to develop an innovative concept or idea and address implementation issues.
BUSINESS STRATEGY
Understand how businesses create and execute strategy and the key components of a strong strategy. Evaluate a company's mission and vision, conduct industry analysis, assess core capabilities and competitive advantages, and explore different business models.
INDIGENOUS BUSINESS ENVIRONMENTS
Taken alongside Indigenous Business Environments, this course provides local experiential learning opportunities designed to support students in gaining an understanding of how to build respectful partnerships with the Indigenous community and to learn how businesses across industry sectors could work with Indigenous peoples to incorporate the legal and ethical considerations of Indigenous knowledge and worldviews within the current and future economic landscape.
INDUSTRY CONSULTING PROJECT
In the Industry Consulting Project, you'll collaborate with leading companies, providing innovative solutions to their strategic business challenges. Students will engage with senior representatives through regular check-ins to ensure project alignment. Upon completion, students will compile a comprehensive report of their findings and present their solutions to the company's senior leadership.
In-Person Signature Experience
In the Online MBA, students participate in an annual signature in-person experience in June and can bond with their teammates and cohort members in an intensive 2-credit course. In the first year, the destination will be downtown Vancouver at the Segal Graduate School of Business and engage with dozens of brands represented within a short radius of the campus.
In the second year, students will meet in Whistler and Sea-to-Sky country for a 3-day weekend, interacting with Indigenous businesses, worldviews, and the beautiful land. Students can expect two days of learning, evening social events, and a third day of optional activities to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Remember to block these dates off in your calendar!
These experiences will help transform your online shared learning space and collaborations into meaningful relationships and friendships.
Luxury & Premium Brand Strategy
Embark on a transformative course designed to hone your leadership, team-building, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with peers to analyze branding strategies of luxury and premium companies branding strategies and uncover your strengths and areas for improvement through team activities and feedback. Learn to creatively solve business challenges, thinking beyond the conventional with curiosity. Together with your team, develop innovative solutions and present them to prepare you to lead and innovate in any professional setting.
Indigenous Business Environments in Community
