Application Process
Step 1: Apply Now
Fall 2023 to Summer 2024 Applicants: Apply for admission to SFU's Business Major, Joint Major or Double Degree program either during, or once you have finished the term in which you are completing the specific lower division required courses for admission. You will receive a confirmation email upon the successful receipt of your application.
During your application you may also select the option to be considered for the Business Minor program should you not gain admission to the Business Major or Business Joint Major program. Learn more about the Business Minor program.
Fall 2024 Applicants: More details on how to apply for admission as an Internal Transfer applicant will be made available in early 2024.
Step 2: Submit Your Supplemental Application
Fall 2023 to Summer 2024 Applicants: If you are applying for admission using your GPA with Supplemental Application, admission to SFU Beedie is based on a combination of academic performance and an assessment of your Supplemental Application.
Once your application has been evaluated on our required courses, you will be emailed an invitation to complete the Supplemental Application. We encourage you to frequently monitor your @SFU email address for an update on your admission status.
Fall 2024 Applicants: Starting in Fall 2024, the Supplemental Application will be required for admission consideration. More details on how to apply and submit your Supplemental Application will be made available in early 2024.
Next Steps
Upon admission to the Business Major or Business Joint Major program, we will issue a formal letter by email to confirm your offer. Don’t miss the opportunity to gain priority enrollment for access to upper division Business courses by checking your SFU email regularly.
Once you have received your offer, review the SFU Beedie Sample Degree Planner for transfer students and meet with an SFU Beedie Academic Advisor. Business Major students must enroll in BUS 100 - Professional Development - Launch & BUS 202 - Foundations of Collaborative Work Environments in their first term in order to retain their offer of admission.
