Step 4: Submit Your Supplemental Application

Fall 2023 to Summer 2024 Applicants: If you are applying for admission under the GPA with Supplemental Application pathway, admission is based on a combination of academic performance and an assessment of your Supplemental Application*.

Once all of your required-to do list items have been received and processed in your Student Center, you will be emailed an invitation to complete the Supplemental Application online. You will not be extended a Supplemental Application invitation until it has been determined that your Business Admission GPA on the 8 required courses is within the GPA with Supplemental Application range (2.80-3.29).

Fall 2024 Applicants: More information on how to access the Supplemental Application will become available closer to the opening of the Fall 2024 Application to SFU.

* Applications via the Undergraduate Admission Policy for Indigenous Students (UAPI)

SFU Beedie School of Business applicants with a complete and eligible Supplemental Indigenous Undergraduate Admission form are not required to submit the SFU Beedie Supplemental Application. Connect with SFU's Indigenous Student Recruitment team for details on the application process.

Upon admission to SFU Beedie School of Business you will be asked to accept your offer of admission through your Student Centre.

Once you have accepted your offer, review the SFU Beedie Sample Degree Planner for transfer students and meet with an SFU Beedie Academic Advisor to strategize your course enrollment in your first term and beyond. As a Business Major student, you must enroll in BUS 100 - Professional Development - Launch & BUS 202 - Foundations of Collaborative Work Environments in your first term in order to retain your offer of admission.

I want to work for companies that don’t just make a profit, but try to make a positive impact in the world, and of course, are in fashion.

Marketing

I'm working on starting EDGE SFU to support students who might not have the same opportunities as other students. The goal is to help to provide financial support, scholarships, and job postings. It’s a lot of work getting this club off the ground, but I enjoy helping other students.

A lot of students don’t follow a traditional path through university, and that’s ok.

The most important thing is to get involved. It’s up to you to make this as enriching as possible, and all you have to do is raise your hand to volunteer or participate in events and clubs.

Irene Chang

BBA Candidate

Finance

The flexibility SFU Beedie offers enabled me to combine my interests in my joint major in international business and economics, but also offered so much through experiential learning and opportunities to get involved. There is so much that the time passes very quickly, so it’s important to make the most of it while you can.

Sasha Vukovic

BBA Alumnus

International Business

I know that whatever I do, the education I gained from my SFU Beedie experience will help me to bring about change.

You will never know unless you try. There are always going to be opportunities to add value – it's just a matter of how you view it. Whether it is signing up for a case competition, or events and information sessions, or reaching out to senior students to ask them about their experiences, make the most of it and get involved.
