Overview
One priority of SFU Beedie’s Undergraduate Program is to maintain a high-caliber curriculum that provides students with relevant content and experiential learning that prepares them with the knowledge, competencies, and skills for their careers. As an AACSB and EQUIS accredited school we are committed to ongoing curriculum review and revision.
The spring of 2019 was the start of our latest effort to align our pedagogy with the three strategic themes (Innovation, Social Responsibility and Global Perspective) found within our Calling. This process included a detailed evaluation of the Undergraduate Program curriculum and identified eight key principles to support curriculum alignment.
The modifications to the BBA program requirements come into effect for new BBA students in September 2022. They will not impact students who are currently in the program.
- A professional development series of courses: BUS 100, BUS 300, and BUS 496
- The introduction of three new business courses: BUS 240, BUS 275, and BUS 373
- Students will be required to complete a minimum of 9 units from a list of courses that include Indigenous Perspectives and centre around the School’s Calling
