Step 1: Apply to SFU
Create an SFU account through EducationPlannerBC.
There is a $81.00 application fee payable online at the time you register.
IMPORTANT: Choose SFU Beedie School of Business as your 1st Choice! Only students who list SFU Beedie School of Business as their first choice will be evaluated for admission to SFU Beedie School of Business. Your 2nd choice must be a program other than SFU Beedie School of Business. For more information on selecting a 2nd choice program, review SFU’s Admission Compass.

Step 2: Activate Your Account
You will receive an email with your 9-digit Student Number (User ID Number) and password. Use these to sign in to your Student Account via your Student Centre to activate your account.

Step 3: Submit Your Supplemental Application
Admission to SFU Beedie School of Business is based on a combination of your academic performance and an assessment of your Supplemental Application*.
You can access your Supplemental Application 24-hours after you receive your SFU 9-digit Student Number (User ID Number) in Step 2.

* Fall applicants via entrance scholarship
SFU Beedie School of Business Fall applicants with a complete and eligible Undergraduate Scholars Entrance Scholarship (USES) application (including all transcripts, references and any additional documents required for admission) are not required to submit the Supplemental Application. Refer to SFU Financial Aid and Awards for details on the application process and requirements.
* Applicants via the Aboriginal Undergraduate Admissions Policy
SFU Beedie School of Business applicants with a complete and eligible Supplemental Aboriginal Undergraduate Admission form are not required to submit the Beedie Supplemental Application. Connect with SFU's Indigenous Student Recruitment team for details on the application process.
Step 4: Submit Your Marks and Documents
All documents must be received by the SFU Admissions Department by the posted deadlines.

Admission status, Deposit & Next Steps
Fall Applications: Completed Fall applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, starting mid-January through to April and sign in to your Student Centre online to check the status of your application. Upon admission to SFU, you will be issued a formal letter confirming your offer.
Once you have accepted your offer, review the SFU Beedie Sample Degree Planner for High School students to prepare for your upcoming course enrollment. Students admitted to our Fall term must enroll in BUS 100 - Professional Development - Launch & BUS 201 - Introduction to Business, in their first term at SFU Beedie in order to retain their offer of admission.

A minimum of 5/8 required courses must be complete, with the remaining 3 listed as in-progress on your transcript(s) by the document deadline. All 8 required courses must be complete before starting your studies at the Beedie School of Business.
All documents must be received by the SFU Admissions Department by the posted deadlines.

ELECTRONIC TRANSCRIPTS
SFU currently accepts electronic transcripts directly from the following institutions:
- Capilano University
- Douglas College
- Fraser International College
- Kwantlen Polytechnic University
- Langara College
- University of Fraser Valley
- Vancouver Island University
Students must order the transcript from their current institution after applying for admission to SFU.

Step 4: Submit Your Supplemental Application
If you are applying for admission under the GPA with Supplemental Application pathway, admission is based on a combination of academic performance and an assessment of your Supplemental Application*.
Once all of your required-to do list items have been received and processed in your Student Center, you will be emailed an invitation to complete the supplemental application online. You will not be extended a Supplemental Application invitation until it has been determined that your Business Admission Average on the 8 required courses is within the GPA with Supplemental Application range (2.80-3.29).

Next Steps
Upon admission to SFU Beedie School of Business you will be asked to accept your offer of admission through your Student Centre. Make sure to follow the steps outlined on the New Undergraduates website, including how to accept your offer.
Once you have accepted your offer, review the SFU Beedie Sample Degree Planner for transfer students and meet with a SFU Beedie Academic Advisor to strategize your course enrollment in your first term and beyond. As a Business Major student, you must enroll in BUS 100 - Professional Development - Launch & BUS 202 - Foundations of Collaborative Work Environments in your first term at SFU Beedie in order to retain your offer of admission.

Step 1: Apply Now
Apply for admission to SFU Business Major, Joint Major or Double Degree program either during, or once you have finished, the term in which you are completing the specific lower division required courses for admission. You will receive a confirmation email upon the successful receipt of your application.
During your application you may also select the option to be considered for the Business Minor program should you not gain admission to the Business Major or Business Joint Major program. Learn more about the Business Minor program.
Step 2: Submit Your Supplemental Application
If you are applying for admission using the combination of GPA with Supplemental Application, admission to SFU Beedie School of Business is based on a combination of academic performance and an assessment of your Supplemental Application.
Once your application has been evaluated on our required courses, you will be emailed an invitation to complete the supplemental application online after the application deadline. We encourage you to frequently monitor your @SFU email address for an update on your admission status.
Next Steps
Upon admission to the Business Major or Business Joint Major program, we will issue a formal letter by email to confirm your offer. Don’t miss the opportunity to gain priority enrollment for access to upper division Business courses by checking your SFU email regularly.
Once you have received your offer, review the SFU Beedie Sample Degree Planner for transfer students and meet with a SFU Beedie Academic Advisor to strategize your course enrollment in your first term and beyond. As a Business Major student, you must enroll in BUS 100 - Professional Development - Launch & BUS 202 - Foundations of Collaborative Work Environments in your first term at SFU Beedie in order to retain your offer of admission.

This second degree application is for you if you:
- have already completed a degree in a subject outside of Business Administration or Commerce (e.g. BBA, BCom, Business Major/Joint Major, MBA, etc).
- are seeking admission to the Business Major or Business Joint Major program
