SFU Beedie LAUNCH

FOR NEW STUDENTS JOINING SFU BEEDIE AND ENROLLED IN BUS 100 IN FALL 2023

Saturday, January 27 – Sunday, January 28

SFU Beedie LAUNCH is a multi-day professional development experience built specifically for incoming SFU Beedie School of Business Students.

LAUNCH is your introduction to an incredible community that supports success during and after your degree. During LAUNCH, you will get to experience a mix of academic, personal and professional development sessions, and social and team activities that will prepare you to thrive academically and socially.

At LAUNCH you will:

  • LEARN and be socialized to the values and culture of the Beedie School of Business at SFU. This weekend will give you the resources, skills, and mindset to assist you in being successful in your academic, social, and career-related pursuits.
  • BUILD and leverage your strengths and those of others, and gain the communication and team skills needed in diverse team environments that you can use throughout your undergraduate degree within the Beedie School of Business
  • CONNECT with peers, and get to know the faculty, staff, and alumni ready to support you.
  • EXPLORE the support services, clubs, co-curricular opportunities, and resources available to you from day one.
  • PLAY while participating in team activities designed to encourage school pride and foster community.

LAUNCH is mandatory and part of your BUS 100 course.

Who: Exclusive to incoming SFU Beedie undergraduate students enrolled in BUS 100 for Spring 2024.

When: Saturday, January 27 - Sunday, January 28, 2024

Where: SFU Burnaby campus


Please note: This experience is mandatory and part of your BUS 100 course. You will receive more news as the date approaches and during class. Please keep an eye out on your @sfu.ca email throughout the summer for more information.
